Eyelet Zig Zag Ensemble
A great texture to use with simple variegated or ombre yarns.

Supplies:
1 Skein   Peaches &Creme™ knitting  worsted yarn variegated
1 Skein   Peaches &Creme™ knitting  worsted yarn solid
1 Pair size 7 (US) single point needles
1 Pair size 7(US) double point needles
Tapestry Needle
Scissors


Cloths
You can border the cloth with a solid or knit all in variegated or solid. If you knit with a contrast border, create bobbins for border.

Cast On:

Small Cloth:  27stitches
Medium Cloth: 35 stitches
Large Cloth: 43 stitches

Knit border for 1" then begin pattern.

Pattern:

pattern is x8+3

Row 1: B4,*k5,yo,k2tog,k1*to last 7 stitches, k3,B4.
Row 2 and all even rows: B4, purl, B4.
Row 3: B4,*k3,k2tog,yo,k1,yo,k2togtbl* to last 7 stitches, k3,B4.
Row 5: B4, k1,*k1,k2tog,yo,k3,k2togtbl* to last 6 stitches, k2,B4.
Row 7: B4, k1,k2tog,yo,k5,yo(k2togtbl,slipstitch back on left hand needle and pass next st on lef hand needle over, slip st back onto right needle),yo,k5,yo* end with k2togtbl,k1,B4.
Row 9: B4, k5,k1f&b,* k7,k1f&b* to last 9 stitches, k5,B4.
Row 11: B4, *k4,k2tog,yo,k2togtbl,k1* to last 7 stitches k3,B4.
Row 12: B4, purl, B4.

Repeat rows  3- 12  till a border distance away from desired length/ Knit border, bind off sttiches and weave in the ends.

Back Scrubber

Cast On:  19 stitches
Knit border of garter or moss for 1".

Pattern:
Row 1: B4,*k5,yo,k2tog,k1*to last 7 stitches, k3,B4.
Row 2 and all even rows: B4, purl, B4.
Row 3: B4,*k3,k2tog,yo,k1,yo,k2togtbl* to last 7 stitches, k3,B4.
Row 5: B4, k1,*k1,k2tog,yo,k3,k2togtbl* to last 6 stitches, k2,B4.
Row 7: B4, k1,k2tog,yo,k5,yo(k2togtbl,slipstitch back on left hand needle and pass next st on lef hand needle over, slip st back onto right needle),yo,k5,yo* end with k2togtbl,k1,B4.
Row 9: B4, k5,k1f&b,* k7,k1f&b* to last 9 stitches, k5,B4.
Row 11: B4, *k4,k2tog,yo,k2togtbl,k1* to last 7 stitches k3,B4.
Row 12: B4, purl, B4.



 Repeat rows 3-12 till piece measures 14-19" in length.
Knit border and bind off all but 3 stitches. Knit I-cord for 9", bind off and sew to opposite side of scrubber. Cast on 3 stitches and knit I-cord for 9", bind off and sew to cast on side of scrubber.
